Happy November!

I am so excited November is finally here! These last few months are literally my favorite time of the year. November and December encompass all of my favorite things; cooler weather, Thanksgiving and Christmas, the best food and the best music (Christmas music is the best – I will fight you on that).

More than that this time of year is all about being thankful. I am so thankful for my family, my children, good health, good friends, and for another year filled with amazing memories and growing as a wife and mother.

There are only a few months left in this year. In fact, in this decade. I want to make the most of them and focus on being grateful and joyful. Many of my posts this month will focus on that. I will also be coming up with some more recipe posts (thanksgiving themed of course) and some fun thanksgiving themed crafts to do with kids.

I am also still working on my first e-book. It is a basic beginners blogging guide. My original goal was to have it ready for purchase by the end of the year, but I don’t want to make any promises and stretch myself too thin during the holiday season. I want to focus on spending time with my family.

I am also looking back on some books I have written over the past ten years and will be editing and rewriting portions to get those ready for publication. I am very excited to share my work with you. I may also start writing up blog posts for writers – sort of a writer’s workshop if you will.

I love being a mom and most of my blog has been about my experience and knowledge as a mom, but I also need to give myself room to expand in the direction of my other passions. So with that said I hope you will stick around and read some of my posts on writing and I may even share portions of my novel writing with you.

I hope everyone has a very happy and joyful November! What are you most excited about this month?
