I am nearly six months into blogging and what a roller-coaster ride it has been. To be honest I didn’t know what I was getting myself into when I started this journey. It feels awkward at first writing out your thoughts and wondering if anyone will read them. As time goes on I am more and more grateful I continue to stick it out and for what I have discovered in the blogging universe.
I first began this blog as an outlet – a form of personal therapy. I knew nothing about creating a website. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to write about. I just wanted to write and get everything off my chest. If you like you can check out my very first post HERE.
As I have continued to write, my knowledge (of what goes into creating a website, researching marketing and business, etc) has improved, but also made my head nearly explode with the sheer volume of information out there. It can be overwhelming and feel like a daunting task trying to make it in the blogging world.
All that aside what I have come to appreciate the most in this blogging adventure is the sense of community I have encountered. There are so many wonderful people in the world and so many awesome blogs. I love connecting with others and hearing what they have to say. To anyone and everyone that has reached out I want to say thank you.
Blogging and working on my website has become an essential part of my day. Some days it feels like work. Other days it feels like fun. I think it should be a mix of both. I now tell my kids when they need something that I need some time and that mommy is ‘working’. I hope all my time and effort will reap something worthwhile and I hope you all will continue to support me on this journey. Thank you friends for coming along with me.
